first of all heres what autism is

i used to be real quiet never talk & didn't interact with other children
my ukg teacher even complained about it
have problems with conversation
my speech patterns are difficult to understand even now & my spelling is worse (thank god for computers :)
sometime confuse what is polite
when i was a kid the sound of rain freakes me out
dont like physical contact (even someone putting their hand on my shoulder)
used to cut the label on the back of the t-shirt or i dont where them
Had a habit of watchin same movies & have same books read to me over & over again
used to imagine objects in virtual space with my gi joes & get lost in it for hours
problems with my handwriting
hate social situations & try to avoid it (hehe just now i blew a fishing trip)
also one thing can u write ur name backwords?

ehehehe I have worked with autistic children for a few months and sometimes I think to myself that I share some autistic qualities too, such as their lack of socialization, repetitive habits and obsessions but that necessarily doesn't have to be autism now does it?
ReplyDeleteand by the way, the imagination running riot while playing is a normal part of each child while growing up :)
and reading some books or watching some movies over and over again is normal too...lots of people have that habit including myself.
